Morin had 2 hits, which means he didn't have the puck ever. Get rid of him now while he still has value.

this curret roster has me very depressed, i was okay till rinaldo signs for 2years, that was the straw that broke my back....like a punch in the face...i was really hoping they were gonna let him vanish.

Or at the very least let him earn a contract this season with changing his game.. Kinda starting to get tired of being at the top of most penalized teams in the league

It's a firm kick in the nuts for sure. This year is all about the phantoms especially of Laughton and ghost play there together Bellemare is interesting, but at 29 already its a buzz kill.

When I think Somik, I think Chris Neil. The tough guy who doesn't fight tough guys. Just picks on nonfighters.

People are really overreacting to the Rinaldo deal. Having him locked up for 3 years at a few hundred K over the league minimum is far from a guarantee that:

A. He is in the lineup every night
and
B. That he is still a Flyer in 3 years.

If they are serious about wanting Couturier to expand his offensive game, I would hope the opening night lineup looks something like this:

Schenn-G-Jake
Read-Couturier-Simmonds
Umberger-Laughton-Raffl or Rinaldo
Bellemare or Raffl-VLC-Akeson or Raffl

Both the Couturier and Laughton lines could match up against other teams scoring lines, and, if they play VLC with wingers like Bellemare, Raffl, or Akeson, they should be able to get some offense from their 3rd and 4th lines.

Yeah, I was at that game. Amazing how brave the Sens became once Brashear was in the locker room.

Who did Chara fight? He also attacked someone really small.

Timander IIRC. Timander wasn't small, but everyone looks small next to Chara. What made it bs was that Timander had never had a fight in his entire career and had no idea what to do. It was fun though, to watch Patrick Sharp beat the crap out of Spezza.

Matthias Timander, I think. Shame Fedoruk wasn't in the lineup that night.

I'm still very confused as to why the Sens jumped Brashear. I mean, he fought Rob Ray, not Daniel Alfredsson.

I was also at the game. The only crazier game I've ever been to (crazier, not better) was Game 3 vs. Pittsburgh.

Oh yeah, absolutely. Though, all of the fun was mainly in the 3rd period.

I had been to some crazy games before, but they were all in the late 70s and early 80s. Good times!

also, now we are stuck with vl who the flyers publicly said was not sure how he fit on the team and would seek trade which was unsuccessfull,so how does everyone think his morale will be like playing for a team that does not want him?

True.

Somik's only NHL bout was with Neil (which Radovan, not so surprisingly, lost overwhelmingly).

It's one cheap depth move. Hartnell for Umberger has a much bigger impact on the roster and could be suggested as a culture change.
